Matt Brown has been a radio and television broadcaster for just over fifteen years, presenting on some of the UKs most popular shows like Nickelodeon, The Big Breakfast and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!. Although, he would readily admit that during those fifteen years he has also worked on some of the UK’s worst ever shows too!
For eight years Matt got up at 3.46am to host his Heart breakfast radio show. As a result, he perfected the art of being able to sleep almost anywhere. His wife and children were not amused by this, particularly when it’s in a restaurant. Working on TV and radio has meant that Matt has done some really cool things. He has hung out with everyone from Will Smith and Victoria Beckham to Iggy Pop and Kermit the frog. He has been strapped to planes, driven huskies in the Arctic Circle, sat in a space shuttle and held snakes in the jungle. He was once bitten by a dolphin, a moment he claims “changed everything”. Matt currently writes his stories in a shed, in his garden, in Buckinghamshire. He was recently voted “the greatest writer in the world” by Stockport Grammar School. He knocked Shakespeare into second place!
